A superb British-bred bush-type variety, endorsed by the RHS, which reliably produces a bountiful crop of delicious, stripy golden-yellow fruits over a long period, and shows better tolerance of powdery mildew than many other varieties.
Sow seeds singly 2.5cm (1") deep into 7.5cm (3") pots indoors or in a greenhouse at 18-25°C (64-77°F). Grow on and plant out in the garden after hardening off, when risk of frost has passed leaving 60cm (24") each way between plants. Alternatively plant in 45cm (18") containers. Can also be sown directly outdoors into warm, well drained, moist soil after the risk of frost has passed, sowing 2-3 seeds at 60cm (24") intervals and thinning out to the strongest seedling.
