Why not grow a houseplant you can eat with our ornamental, edible spices. The spicy little cousin of ginger, lesser galangal makes an attractive evergreen houseplant with edible leaves and roots. Attractive structural leaves and showy 'orchid-like' flowers. Leaves taste similar to ginger, with subtle spice and hints of citrus when cooked, whereas the root has a hotter flavour which is ideal for oriental and Thai cuisine. Can also be used like kaffir lime leaves in many oriental dishes. Supplied in a 12cm pot.
