Looking after your Primrose Seeds - Amore

Primrose Seeds - Amore prefer to be grown in rich, well drained soil. Sow them in a sunny spot in your garden or alternatively a partially shaded area. Water regularly during their peak growing period. Once plants are established, deadhead often to encourage new flowers to grow.

Growing Information

Sow March to July in pots or trays using a good quality, moist, firmed seed compost, pressing the seed lightly into the surface. Do not cover the seed. Place in a plastic bag, seal and keep in the fridge for 3–4 weeks to pre-chill. Remove from the bag and place on a windowsill or in a greenhouse. Do not exclude light, germination up to 28 days. Grow on at approximately 16–18°C (60–65°F). Transplant seedlings once they are large enough to handle, plant out in autumn 23cm (9") apart.

Ideal for beds and borders, patio pots and containers, hanging baskets, raised beds. Attractive to bees. Prefers full sun or partial shade. Can be planted in more difficult, part-shade areas. Can also be grown in smaller pots and containers for table and windowsill decorations.
