Moerings KH Plus

How does it work?
The average carbonate hardness or KH value must be between 5-10. This value indicates the combination between calcium, magnesium and CO² value. The CO² value is significant for oxygen plants. So if the KH value is
high enough, then there is also sufficient CO². The use of Moerings KH Plus increases the carbonate hardness. If there is a strong deviation from the ideal value, most of the natural processes in your pond cannot take place. A good KH value is important for clear water and healthy plants. The plants extract minerals and rainfall

Instructions - dosage
25 ml (1 measuring cup) increases 900 litres of pond water by 1 KH. This is an indicative value. In heavily polluted ponds, the increase may be less. It is important to measure this properly.
1 litre provides an increase of 4 KH for 8,000 litres of water
2,5 litres provides an increase of 4 KH for 20,000 litres of water
5 litres provides an increase of 4 KH for 40,000 litres of water
10 litres provides an increase of 4 KH for 80,000 litres of water
