Achillea Plants - Summer Pastels

Loved by bees and butterflies

The Achillea Plants - Summer Pastels is a dazzling plant that produces very large, beautiful stems filled with flowers. Sitting atop deep green foliage, these stems produce fantastically red and hot pink flowers in a compact and bushy style. The more you look at the Achillea Plants - Summer Pastels, the more of its delightful details you see. Each of the flowers is decorated with a small yellow centre to create a beautiful ‘polka dot’ aesthetic all over the plant.

The Achillea Plants - Summer Pastels will look absolutely amazing planted in your flower beds and flower borders all season long. Flowering from June- September, you can enjoy these fascinating flowers for the whole of Summer. An added bonus is they are very attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators, meaning you’ll be supporting your local wildlife whilst benefiting from seeing some beautiful creatures in your garden.

Having a slightly compact habit and growing to a height of 50- 60cm (20-24”) they are absolutely ideal for filling a patio pot or decorative container.

Looking after your Achillea Plants - Summer Pastels

When planting your Achillea Plants - Summer Pastels make sure to plant them in well-drained soil. They may struggle to grow in wet soil. Remember to water them regularly throughout the season and occasionally use a feed on them.

Potted plants are ready to either be repotted into your patio pots and containers or planted straight outside into the ground. Ready for you to enjoy. Value plugs will require some extra attention. They will need repotting and to be grown on in a warm environment until fully established. They can then be planted out to the final positions.

Growing Information

Growing Information

Value Plug Plants

These larger cell grown plants will develop very quickly once planted in 7 to 9cm pots. Ease them from their tray using the dibber stick provided, pushing through the base hole of each cell, then plant into the centre of the pot ensuring all the roots are covered but that the stem and leaves remain exposed. Alternatively, plant into trays of compost. Begonias and impatiens should ideally be grown on at a minimum temperature of 18°C (65°F). For other plants 16°C (60°F) would be suitable.

Potted Plants

On delivery of your plants you need to do this straight away: Carefully unpack your plants and check that the compost is moist. If it’s dry, water carefully using a small watering can and allow to drain. Stand in a light, warm place and then follow the ‘growing on’ instructions. Provided they are kept moist, they can usually be left for up to 3 days. Your plants have been grown under ideal conditions and inspected by one of our experts prior to careful packaging and despatch by post. However, should they have been damaged or delayed during delivery, please contact us immediately.
