Culture: Plant Strawberries 45cm (18") apart with 75cm (2½') between each row. Choose a sunny sheltered spot and dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or compost. Full growing instructions included.
Flowering: June right through to October
Hints: Note: At despatch time, plants will be partially dormant and some may have very little foliage. Once planted they will establish good root systems and be ready to grow away vigorously in spring.
Plants supplied will be strong, open-ground runners (plants), certified under the Plant Health Propagation Scheme (PHPS). All plants will be hand graded and selected before packing.
HEALTH BENEFITS: One of the most nutritious of fruits! Low in calories (approximately 90 calories per punnet). Very high in vitamin C (five berries a day provides more vitamin C than an orange!). High in folate (which aids memory and concentration). Plus high in fibre too!
