Tasty and attractive! This superb kohl rabi will provide a good harvest of attractive, flavoursome purple bulbs. Plants hold well in the garden. Award of Garden Merit winner.
In flavour, midway between cabbage and turnip, the edible portion is the swollen stem just above soil level. Best eaten at 'golf-ball' size. Culture: Sow April-July in drills 38cm (15") apart, thinning out to 10cm (4") apart. Harvest June-September.
