A more modern and vigorous climbing french bean than Blue Lake with round, deliciously flavoured, stringless pods up to 20cm (8") in length are produced in profusion right through to autumn if picked regularly. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Culture: Grow outdoors and support in the same way as runner beans. Plant height 1.8-2.1m (6-7'). Sow April-June, harvest mid June-mid October. Row 4.5m (15').
