Rich green heads Delicious and nutritious rich green heads. Harvest September to December. Matures in 12-16 weeks from sowing. Culture: Calabrese produces a large central head which should be cut and eaten. Delicious, smaller shoots (broccoli spears) will follow from each leaf joint. These should be cut with about 15cm (6") of stem. As for sprouting broccoli; sow end April-May, harvest October-November.
