Spears ready to harvest in first year!
This first-class asparagus produces tall, slender, high quality spears with tight green buds. Particularly delicious steamed, stir-fried or sautéed and topped with butter.

Sow March-April under glass at a temperature of 18-20°C (65-70°F). Plant out when frost risk has passed, 45cm (18") apart. Keep weeded and watered. A light harvest can be achieved in August of the first year. Pick May-June in subsequent years.
