A low calorie alternative to potatoes!
A novel winter alternative to potatoes, with a unique and delicious taste. Larger and smoother tubers than the common ‘knobbly’ variety, making them much easier to prepare! Crops 40-50 weeks from planting. Low calorie, so good for slimmers! Try them boiled, baked or roasted. Equally delicious in winter stews and soups. The tall plants make a useful windbreak. Harvest October-early spring. Height 1.5m (5').
