Clematis montana var.rubens is a twining climber, with pale pink four-petalled flowers that cover the shrub in late spring and early summer. Train through an evergreen tree, or allow to ramble over a pergola. Belongs to pruning group 1 - needing pruning only to maintain shape and size, and to remove dead wood. Flowers May-June. Height 250-300cm. Supplied in a 3-4 litre pot.
