Amelanchier lamarckii is a compact North American tree with pretty white, star-shaped flowers in early spring. It looks great throughout the season, thanks to its dense pleasant shape and its stunning leaf colour. Its spring bronzed-tinged leaves turn dark green in summer becoming orange and red in autumn. This is complimented by dark red berries in late summer. It is easy to grow, requiring a neutral or acidic soil. Flowers April-May. Height 200-250cm. Supplied in a 7.5-10 litre pot.
