“Also known as red orach or salt bush, ‘red plume’ will grow to become a substantial bedding plant, with its wine red leaves and red/coppery, coin shaped seed pods later in the year, this plant has a multitude of uses. Not only do branches of this plant look fabulous spilling out of a vase, but the seed pods which are produced later in the summer, give a new dimension to the plant. If you’re feeling a little peckish, ‘red plume’ is also edible, with the young leaves making an excellent addition to any salad. Combines well with dahlias and zinnia.” Height 1.5m (5’).
Rob's Spillers - Spillers can either fall away from the main arrangement down the sides, or they can spike up and out of the arrangement. They help create depth to the other flowers and help it feel more natural.
