Very high yielding!
A hybrid green asparagus that is high yielding and forms a very long lasting bed. Trial results in the UK have show Pacific 2000 togive some of the heaviest crops of all with uniform long tight spears. The flavour is excellent and tests have shown that this is perhaps the sweetest green variety available! Midseason, usually can be picked from mid April. 12 crowns plants a row 4.5m (15') long.
Note: Asparagus Crowns will be despatched from early April which is the correct time for planting. Last order date 3rd March 2009.
