CULTURE: Can be sown in late July in the North and the Midlands and early August in the South. Sow ¾" deep drills (shallow grooves) 15cm (6") apart on prepared seed beds outdoors. Set the resultant plants in rows 38cm (15") apart, with 30cm (1') between plants, during September and October. The cabbages will be ready for use in the following spring.
