Culture: Sow during February and March in a temperature of 16-18°C (60-65°F). Grow in pots or growbags under glass or in a warm, sunny place outdoors. Harvest August-October.

Hints: Grow like tomatoes - use tomato liquid feed. Eat within 2-3 days of picking. HEALTH BENEFITS: Contains vitamins E & K. High in potassium, folate, magnesium and fibre. COOKING HINTS: Slice, salt to remove bitter juices and soften. Rinse, dry, coat with flour and fry or use in Ratatouille/Moussaka.
