Bargain Patio Potato Growing Kit - 15 potato tubers and 3 tough woven polyethylene planters to enable you to grow them on the patio.
Potato planters are the easy way to grow your own potatoes.
Now you can grow your own crop of spuds on your patio - each planter can grow up to 9 lbs of delicious new potatoes (that's up to 27 lbs) from these 3 planters!
They are made from tough polyethylene material with well positioned drainage holes and can be used over and over again. Plus the carry handles enable you to move them round the garden.

Swift - The earliest potato in our range which can crop as soon as 7 weeks from planting. The creamy waxy flesh has a delicate sweetish taste and will be much appreciated as the first potatoes of summer! Has a very short top growth which allows closer plantings (10" apart). Keep well watered and free from weeds to maximise yields.
Charlotte - Classic salad potato against which all others, are judged. Matures early, producing good numbers of medium sized oval tubers with a waxy texture and very fine flavour.
Vivaldi - A highly sought-after variety, widely appreciated for its taste and texture. Lower in carbohydrates and calories than other varieties, making it ideal for slimmers!

Delicious potatoes fresh from the garden ... and so easy to grow!
Growing potatoes is easy provided you follow a few simple rules and the first of these is to plant the highest quality potato seed. All Dobies seed potatoes originate from specialist potato growers and are grown in the climate and conditions necessary to ensure the seed is healthy and free from pests and diseases. The crops are inspected in the field and after harvest by qualified inspectors from the Certifying Authority. We've been supplying potatoes for over 25 years and, by trialling them each year, we have gained a thorough understanding of how they grow and taste.

Quality Control - Once they have passed their inspections, our seed potatoes receive a certificate number which you will see on the bag label. They are size graded within riddle size 35mm x 60mm which eliminates all over large and very small tubers although of course this does not mean that they are all identical as the precise nature of the seed is largely dependant on growing season and variety. Before packing the seed undergoes a final visual inspection to remove damaged and substandard tubers. Note: a 3kg pack will contain approximately 30-50 potato tubers dependent on the variety you are ordering.
Order Despatch: Your potatoes will be sent separately in special secure cartons, and will be despatched promptly by post or courier. Orders of seed potatoes incur a carriage charge of £3.95.
