Sweet Corn Seeds - Mirai Picnic F1

Zea

A vigorous-growing hybrid supersweet variety producing a good crop of fully packed, well-protected cobs up to 15cm (6") in length. Performed equally well in containers and the open field in our trials. There are not many foods that can come close to the taste of freshly picked Mirai sweet corn eaten raw from the plant (in Japan it's sold and eaten as a fruit); it is also delicious barbecued or lightly steamed. Harvest August-September.
