Unusual colour, great taste
An unusual brown-skinned mid to late season pepper producing a good crop of peppers, each one up to 200g (7oz) in weight, with flesh that is sweet and delicious.
Culture: Sow under glass February-early April, grow on in pots in a cool greenhouse, or plant out under cloches in late May or June.

Take care when preparing chillies as the substance which causes the 'hot' flavour can also cause irritation if it comes in contact with the eyes. HEALTH BENEFITS: Red and green both high in vitamin C, red very high in vitamin A. COOKING HINTS: Try sweet pepper strips raw with dips or roasted whole and stuffed! Make a simple chilli oil by adding whole chillies to a bottle of olive oil (puncture them to make them sink).
