Ideal for salads or stuffing
The pepper that thinks it is a tomato! Yes it really is a round, tomato shaped pepper! The dark red, sweet, shiny fruit are ideal for use in salads or for stuffing. Though the fruits are sweet, there is a slight after-taste of heat.
Culture: Crops 18 weeks from sowing. We recommend ‘grafted’ varieties for earlier cropping and larger crops. Sow under glass as for tomatoes and grow on in pots in a cool greenhouse or tunnel. Redskin and Apache F1 can be grown outdoors on a sunny patio in warm areas, preferably against a sunny wall.
TOBY'S TIP: Peppers are unique. Grow them in a 30cm (12") pot and the fruits will reach their full size. Grow them in a 15cm (6") pot and they will produce mature fruit, only much smaller.
