A delicate flavour White, apple-like bulbs of high-grained internal structure and of delicate flavour. Higher yielding and standing longer in good condition than 'ordinary' varieties. Award of Garden Merit. This kohl rabi trialled, tested and recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. Maturing time approximately 10-12 weeks from sowing. Culture: Sow April-July in drills 38cm (15") apart thinning out to 10cm (4") apart. Best eaten at 'golf ball' size. Harvest June-September. Row 3m (10').
