A dwarf weather-resistant borecole
Dwarf habit with closely curled leaves. A superb source of tasty and highly nutritious autumn, winter and spring 'greens'. Resistant to very bad winter conditions.
Culture: Sow 1.8cm (¾") deep on a prepared seed bed at the end of April/early in May. Set out the plants in their final positions, 60cm (2') apart each way July-early August. Harvest mid October-March.

Remove any discoloured foliage and apply a fertiliser in spring to boost new shoots. Can also use the seed as a healthy 'sprouting seed'.
