An ideal Savoy cabbage Ormskirk produces solid heads with deeply crimped dark green foliage. Ready for use late January to March. Savoy cabbage - for autumn/winter cutting. Culture: Grow best on land manured for a previous crop. Sow late April-May in ¾" deep drills (shallow grooves) 15cm (6") apart on prepared seed beds outdoors. Plant out in final positions 60cm (2') apart each way in July and August.
