For first summer crops sow early April onwards in drills/grooves, 1.8cm (¾”) deep and 30cm (12”) apart. For winter use sow at the end of July and again about the second week in August.

Ideal for beds and borders. HEALTH BENEFITS: Both roots and green tops may be used and are high in vitamin C and fibre. Unlike many vegetables, turnips retain their nutrients well when cooked.
