Larger and smoother tubers than the common ‘knobbly’ variety, making them much easier to prepare! Tubers despatched February/March (correct time for planting).
Culture: Crops 40-50 weeks from planting. A novel winter alternative to potatoes, with a unique and delicious taste. Plant tubers 38-45cm (15–18”) apart, 12.5cm (5”) deep. Earth up when stems are 30cm (12”) high. Harvest October-early spring. Plants can reach 1.5m (5') or more, making an ideal windbreak. Full growing instructions included.
