Cosmos Seeds - Rose Bonbon

Cosmea

“This cosmos isn’t your average daisy-shaped cosmos. This little beauty is more akin to a pink rose, with its double flower of powder-pink petals; it forms a rather impressive plant that is literally covered in blooms. Keep picking for continuous displays of pink perfection all summer long. This flower was one of the ones that helped me win in the final; perfect feathery foliage and a beautiful bud really impressed the judges.” Height 60-90cm (24-36”). HHA - Half-hardy annual.

Rob's Thrillers - Thrillers are the star of the show, the flower you want to show off and be your centrepiece. One or two of each Thriller, Filler and Spiller can turn a good bunch of flowers into a great arrangement.

Sow thinly during February and March under glass or indoors in trays of a good, moist seed compost, covering lightly with a fine layer of sieved compost or sow March-May direct for late summer flowering. A sheet of glass or plastic can be placed over the seed tray to help retain moisture and germinate at about 18-21ºC (65-70ºF). When the resulting seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant 5cm (2") apart into further trays and grow on. Acclimatise to outside conditions before planting out about 30-40cm (12-16") apart in May or June.

Ideal for beds and borders. Drought resistant. Prefers full sun. Suitable for cutting.
