Culture: Sow under cover January-February and plant out in April after hardening them off. Alternatively, sow April-May outdoors. The finest sweet peas are obtained from sowings made in pots September-October, with young plants wintered in a cold frame, and planted out in March or April for flowers late May-August.
- Take the time to prepare the soil incorporating plenty of organic matter prior to planting. It will more than pay you back in quantity and duration of flowering.
